Youtube Banned in Pakistan
Youtube site is now banned for Pakistan, the Pakistan Telecommunications Authority blocked access to this site around 22 February 2008 because of anti-Islamic content on this website. Pakistan’s service providers tried to block access by routing the requests to another IP address, aparently this blocked other people outside Pakistan from accessing YouTube.
Earthquake in London UK
LONDON, England (CNN) — An earthquake shook Britain early Wednesday, causing damage to buildings and leaving at least one person injured. This image provided by the British Geological Survey shows the seismogram registering the earthquake at Market Rasen, England on Wednesday.
The British Geological Survey put the preliminary magnitude for the earthquake at 5.3, according to the British Press Association.
The U.S. Geological Survey said the quake measured 4.7.
Emergency services across England received calls following the incident, many from people who woke up to find their homes shaking.
Ambulance officials said a man from Barnsley, South Yorkshire, required hospital treatment after a chimney collapsed and fell into his bedroom. (more…)
Facebook user jailed 3 years for fake prince profile
26-year-old engineer has been sentenced to three years in prison for creating a fake profile of the younger brother of Moroccan King Mohammed VI on the popular Internet networking site Facebook.
A court in Casablanca on Friday convicted Fouad Mourtada of “usurping the identity of HRH Prince Moulay Rachid,” and faking computer documents, the official MAP news agency reported. He was also fined $1,300.
Mourtada’s lawyers said they would appeal, the report said. They had sought to have the case thrown out on the grounds that he had been held too long in provisional custody after his arrest on February 6. (more…)
Stealth US bomber crashed

A military accident made international headlines after a billion-dollar bomber crashed at Andersen Air Force Base in Yigo this morning. Here’s all we know at this point: a B-2, commonly known as a “stealth bomber”, had two pilots aboard and was taking off at around 10:30 Saturday morning when, for reasons still unexplained, crashed. The pilots ejected and were transported to the Guam Naval Hospital in Agana Heights. The U.S. Air Force confirms they were evaluated by medical staff and are reportedly in good condition. (more…)
